PIC is designed around installations in the Porsche 987 and 997 generation. The project is independent; compatibility statements describe the intended technical environment and do not imply Porsche approval or support.

Behavior depends on Android version, manufacturer firmware, installed apps and exposed services.
Primary baseline for core speed, distance and trip functionality.
Enhancement for compatible adapters and vehicle/head-unit combinations. Not required for core trip operation.
Scan, connect, disconnect and attempted OBD data-plane paths are present. Universal real-hardware compatibility is not claimed.
Detected does not automatically mean integrated.
PIC treats head-unit capability in stages. A component may be detected on the device without being usable as a PIC provider, and a usable provider is not described as integrated until its runtime path is sufficiently verified. This distinction is particularly important on vendor-modified Android systems.
Identify the configuration.
For useful Public Beta feedback, record the vehicle, head-unit manufacturer/model, Android version, PIC version and affected function. If the issue is reproducible, Diagnostic Export can provide the technical context needed to investigate it.
